Simin advises clients on intellectual property and general corporate matters, with a focus on trademark law. Simin has experience counseling startups and entrepreneurs on issues including entity formation, equity allocation, corporate governance, and employment law. Simin received her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, where she was a Global Business Law Fellow and where she specialized in both intellectual property and corporate law.
Prior to law school, Simin had extensive research experience in social science and public policy. She holds a B.A. in Sociology and Economics from Tsinghua University and an M.A. in Sociology from Peking University. She was a summer fellow at the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA).
Simin is fluent in English and Mandarin.
